Bodega Dreams - American Literautre Blog

Hi guys -
Welcome to the Bodega Dreams blog for our class. I will be posting questions for you about the novel, that I ask you to respond to, each night, as a way of monitoring your reading of the novel.
You are required to add at least five blogs per week. I will be grading your responses based on your honesty, depth, and authenticity. I will be able to tell if you are not reading!!

In addition to your responses to the novel, I ask that you post your own reactions to the novel. For instance, if you really think a character is cool, or if you are upset about an event, then take the opportunity to increase your grade by posting a blog about that.

The more you have to say and the more you participate in the blog, the better.

Have fun with this, guys - I want this to be something that you can be proud of and get done on your own time.

Ok-

As the posts were getting out of control and confusing, here we go

again...We should all be through Chapters 4 and 5 by Monday, so what I

want you to do is discuss your thoughts about Amir & Hassan. Who do

you like better and why? Also, what are your thoughts of the author's

depiction of Afghanistan, so far? What are your impressions of the

country and the people, as you have read so far?

PLEASE keep on topic. It is just too confusing to stray off topic. It is

witty and funny, but very frustrating...especially for me as I'm trying to

grade you!
